Are You Being Called to Serve at the Table of the Lord?

† This ministry provides boys and girls the opportunity to assist in the parish's liturgical celebrations.  From apostolic times, altar servers have always had a place in the celebration of the Eucharist as well as other liturgical rites. The primary role of the Altar Server is to assist the Celebrant at Mass.  As an Altar Server you may be called upon to lead the Liturgical Procession carrying the Processional Cross, the Candles, or the Thurible and Incense.  You will assist the Celebrant (Priest) by holding the book and of course, setting the table (preparing the altar) for the celebration of the Liturgy of the Eucharist.  Altar Serving is an excellent ministerial choice for young people seeking a deeper relationship with Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and a better understanding of how we celebrate the sacraments.

    We are actively seeking more altar servers.  Boys and girls are eligible to become Altar Servers once they have entered the 4th grade.  If you or someone you know is interested in becoming an Altar Server please call the Rectory and leave your name and phone number for Father Andre.

Upcoming Events

Movies with a Lenten Theme: Join Father Andre and the principal of our school Mrs. Andrea D’Emic on Wednesdays of Lent from February 29th to March 21st and watch four secular movies that highlight Lenten themes. Light refreshments will be served at 7:00 pm followed by a brief discussion after the movie lead by Mrs. Andrea D’Emic. Showtime 7:30 pm in the school auditorium. Engage fellow parishioners through film and fellowship as we journey through Lent.

Father Andre’s Book and Media Club: Join Father Andre’s Book and Media Club and explore the rich heritage of the Catholic faith and share in our passion. The club is open to anyone who is interested in reading Western Spiritual Classics, Contemporary Spiritual writers and other various works. Book Club meetings are  held in the Rectory Blue Room on Saturdays, from 11:00am until 12 noon. Sign up sheets are available at all Church entrances or you may call and leave your name and phone number at the rectory.

St. Patrick’s Men’s Club: St. Patrick’s Men’s Club has a busy spring season planned. Saturday, February 25^th. a morning retreat(More details will be in Sunday’s bulletin.). Next will be the 3^rd Annual Communion Dinner on Saturday, April 14th  and last but not least is Family Day at the Cyclones in June (date to be determined.) Please mark your calendars and plan to join us.
